Quite a lot. And that's not even including the different archetypes available to them.
Those are my favorites. If the game was nothing but those, I would totally buy them.
Pathfinder has 37-46 different classes, depending on how you count them.
At least 37 are indisputably distinct classes with their own archetypes, options, etc.
Core Classes (Those borrowed from D&D)
Barbarian
Bard
Cleric
Druid
Fighter
Monk
Paladin
Ranger
Rogue
Sorcerer
Wizard
Base Classes (Pathfinder original classes that are level 1 to 20 just like the Core classes)
Alchemist
Cavalier
Gunslinger
Inquisitor
Magus
Oracle
Shifter
Summoner
Vigilante
Witch
Hybrid Classes (more Pathfinder original classes formed out of combining features from two Core or Base classes)
Bloodrager
Arcanist
Brawler
Hunter
Investigator
Slayer
Warpriest
Swashbuckler
Shaman
Skald
Occult Classes (which feature a 3rd type of magic: Psychic [after Divine and Arcane])
Kineticist
Medium
Mesmerist
Occultist
Psychic
Spiritualist
In addition to those:
In tabletop there's also the Demoniac[www.d20pfsrd.com] prestige class. Which is more in line with the classic demon summoning cultist trope. Fun fact: Areelu Vorlesh actually possesses levels in this very prestige class in PnP. An interesting one, that one. But also kind of pointless to have around. given we already have the Demon mythic path.
As far as Warlocks go, they already exist in Pathfinder. Not as its own class, mind you, but as an archetype[www.d20pfsrd.com] for the Vigilante class. Basically a super hero/anti-hero/villain/what-have-you with a double identity. No ties to demons or other patrons tho. Paizo's take is more similar to a ranged Magus.
They said that the Magus was going to be called "Warlock" but they didn't want players confusing it with the D&D Warlock class so they changed the name. The "eldritch blaster" class concept was revamped into the kineticist.
Later, they made an archetype for vigilante named "warlock" that uses arcane bolts and is superficially similar in concept to the D&D Warlock.
Main game story requires COMMITMENT, which is not a resource many people working 9 to 5 have. BtSL and ToMI on the other hand is a great mode to just chill and test some builds
Edit: One thing I don't like about ToMI though is that Owlcats blocked "less party - more exp" option. In BtSL you could run a party of 4 or 3 or even 1 PC and do pretty good. In ToMI running less than 6 PC's is pretty much not viable without at least some optimising
Agreed. I think it was because at the time (2009), they wanted to totally remake the Warlock class from D&D 3.5 version and changed it so much it became unrecognizable.
