Am i blind, or is there no way to hide cloaks?

You can't hide it in the base game. Which is a really strange oversight since it lets you hide helmets, gloves, bracers, boots and your entire gear. Just not cloaks.

Use the mod 'Visual Adjustments 2' to hide anything you want. Its pretty great. Link:

There isn't a way to hide anything. Well, probably with mods.

Edit: okay, apparently there is for helmets.

Dunno if it works for Cloaks but there's a Gear symbol in your inventory that will allow you Hide helmets and change to 'default' clothes for your class.

There's also a Golem that will transmute your gear into looking like any other kind of gear in the same slot. So just find a cloak you like and have fun. I'm partial to the bright red one. And the default wizard cowl is trash. Much better to use that pointed hat that you can find (via skill check) at Heaven's Edge.
