how do i equip mount armor?
So, I'm playing a Sohei monk. how do I equip Armor to my horse? do i need to equip it on my char?

and what are the kneepats for? :D

When you click on the little bar under the char's portrait you activate the portrait of the animal companion and can choose it to equip and level the companion. The little arrow at the top left of the portrait deactivates it again.

There is a description for all items. Short info with mouseover, complete info with right click.

Oh, and Animals can only wear barding - special armor for animals - not regular armor. That's only for the humanoid members of your party. And I'm pretty sure no matter the class of their master no animal comes with the feat to wear armor - but I might be mistaken here. Check the abilities of your horse for that. And if it's not there you need to pick the feat.

Edit: If you choose the archetype "Bulwark" for your animal it gets the feat for medium barding. But you can choose any archetype or none and just choose the feat.

If you didn't level it up before, it should have died all the time?

yes. it was dead all the time. But i didnt think anything about it.
and now it even deals presicion dammage.

Every time you gain a level, your pony will as well - happy motorponying.

yea, found out.. guess Sheela (?) should have gotten a pony too then :D

You will find an item that gives you a triceratops mount in Chapter 2 though. In my current run, Seela and I are both mounted, Daeran picked Nature as a mythic feat and has a kitty protector that loves sending folks on a trip, and the Triceratops gets passed around like a carnival prize.

Triceratops Statuette. Should have gotten it during the Seige of Drezen. If you don't have it by now, you can't go back for it.
