Shift Ulbrig Back?

It looks like Ulbrig is stuck in Griffon form. How do you shift him back?

Unless it's been patched, there's an ability that can only be seen after you shift into the form. Check your abilities after you shift. Unfortunately, it seems buggy and will not stay on your ability hot bar when shifting out.

I stopped playing shifter because you also can't equip them while shifted. So to equip a piece of gear you have to shift out, equip, shift back, then drag the shift back ability to your bar, as well as the griffon fly charge ability to the bar. Every time.

If the bug gets fixed for the disappearing shift out ability, I'll try it again with a non main character (it's a very simple autoattack class as far as I can tell).

that is no bug, it is working as intended, but it would be a QOL feature that the stuff stays on the bar, even when unavailable...

counterpoint : why do you want to shift him back? he (and most other shifters) are tremendously weaker in humanoid form once they are able to maintain the shapeshift permanently.

thats pointless.. you dont get stats from items when you are shapeshifted, so it doesnt matter if you are completely naked or fully geared, your shifted form has its own stats

Source? Seems extremely clunky and unnecessarily awkward for abilities to disappear off the ability hotbar.

Ahh thanks for telling me this. I'll just stop playing shifters. They are the least interesting class in the game for me now. Autoattack class with no upgrading equipment, ever? Yikes, man.

because shapeshifting works like this, for all classes in all forms, once the shapeshifting is over the extra abilities dissapear and are no longer available like they never existed in the first place, i also think it is clunky for shapeshifters and maybe they will add this in a patch if enough people want it?!...

actually some gear works, i think you are just unable to acces the inventory while shifted and u can not use items while shifted, it is not unusual for shifted forms and pets

I had to respec him to fix the 'turn back' button dissappearing.
I ended up not taking Master Shapeshifter so that if the bug happens again, at least he turns back after a duration.
