I'm sure BG 1 didn't have multiplayer, either, BG 2 might have had it ... can't remember. Still, same thing.
That's why Icewind Dale had Multiplayer - there wasn't a "chosen one" storyline, all chars were equal.
Both BG 1 & 2 had multiplayer. But it was like you thought. One player was the chosen one.
The main way many used the multiplayer option in both games was as a trick to get extra created companions in your party. You ran multiple copies of the game to make the extra character, then when that second player 'left' you could control both characters.
discrimination has no place among us.
if you have anything constructive to say by all means speak, otherwise please keep your sorry opinion for yourself.
there is no multiplayer in pathfinder, the genre used to have it, such as neverwinter nights, but nowadays game's ressource and needs sadly require a lot of investment that can not be spared for that.
although that is not really a problem considering the huge content and replayability of the pathfinder games. hope you'll enjoy it nontheless !
Yeah and because of it, singleplayer-only experience suffers for it.
definitely not. bg3 sp is also great.
Yeah and singleplayer experience is suffering for multiplayer. Inventory is pain in the ass with so many items and you don't have global inventory, and when being on companion and forgeting to switch back to MC, NPCs act like it is first time they met me. There are other problems too, but they are not directly linked to multiplayer.
I agree bg3 is buggy as hell, I've met almost-game-breaking bugs many times. NPCs and companions do forget things and lack continuity many times. That being said, I can't understand how can someone feel like there's not enough content, since there are so many memorable npcs and hours of so many fun (side) quests and dialogues etc... dozens of hours literally. But well, we're way off topic, I'll stop here. I still have to play pathfinder wotr, I've only played kingmaker.
