First of all there are a few of this threads around, you may find the answer you want there...nontheless...
About your picture, as you may see in the log you were not able to pierce through the magic resistence of the swarm (not sure what was Daeran casting ), as you may see the swarm have 17 magic resistence, and 15 fire and cold resistence. So assuming you pass through that reistence, you should do over 15 points of damage to inflict some real damage (assuming you do not have the mythic trait to ignore fire resistence).
Some tips you may find of use...
- the will save of the swarm is quite low, enchantment spells may be of help (remember you must pass magic resistence, and check that the swarm is not immune to the effects of that spell (this locust have some mind immunities, so check on spells description).
- some characters, like Camellia, can set energy to their weapon damage via weapon enhancement ability...it will come handy.
- most swarms can have their statics drained, for example cloudkill, but you will need some micromanagment (i do use this and love it, yet, it may take some time to take em down). With protection of poison (delay), you can fight under the cloud withouth suffering the effects, also as constitution is drained, their fortitude bonus to save should reduce as to be affected by other spells/abilities more easily.
- 30 ft of speed is average, you should have at least 1 character that can run faster than the swarm...it could be a nice decoy.
- swarms can be exhausted, assuming your Daeran or Ember should have one.
- you have no need to play in that room you may run towards the previous one where some traps could be prepared
- when the locust reach your tank (assuming the formation is correct), you may set the rest of the team to avoid the swarm and attack the rest of the enemies, while the tank take the swarms away (have in mind that some tanks with heavy armor may have low speed, you need to be 40 feet or over).
-all of this work on real-time battle, as i play on it; not sure about pause-time efficiency.
Hope this help
Have fun
- by the way main character class?
Edit. This is assuming you have taken the Ascended Element: Fire mythic ability for her.
It is quite frustrating to realsie that after 1k hours on Pathfidner games you know nothing about it pretty much... I never struggled more with any figth than this one.
I play exclusively in turn by turn.
So:
Yes i have been trying....
Here below are my shaman skills i dobnt know which one you refer to I cannot deal any damage with Camelia using her rapier (she is a pure lvl 11 Shaman).

I brought Nemio and made a metamagic lvl 6 controilled fireball but she barely goes beyond 18-19 points of damage to the swarms and at the same time she hits frontliners.
I am getting closer but still did not manage a "good" end not to mention that i am loosing 2-3 characters each time.
I think someone was asking about my main character, he is a rowdy lvl11 built around master strike he makes 180-200+ damage each round when he can hit... he will multiclass with fighter after lvl 12... but that firepower is useless vs swarms.
If not other ideas, but first...
- do your characters have selective trait, or a wand with selective property?
- do you have the cloudkill spell and communal delay poison?
- Ember should have some sonic dmg spell, no resistance from the swarm but the 17 magical resistance...if you pass it you do full damage.
- as far as i see, no acid resistence...so melf acid arrow should help provided it pass the magic resistence.
- some quicken metamagic rod is in you power?...even lesser should help.
- as swarm is kinda hybrid, i am not sure but perhaps pit spells could help...to hinder them, or one like acid pit to kill them.
- what about some scrolls with acid or sonic damage?
- check on Daeran damage living ability (area damage)
- Druid spells like thirsty entaglement (the one that drain cosntitution) may help if you have a way tom make it selective, or if you manage to set it down and run, and re-engage and run...and so until they take enough damage to constitution (contitution = 0 = dead); or the entaglement with fire properties, but you will need ascended element fire there (as the damage is too low and wont reach the 15 resistence base). I think Arushalae, Ember and Camellia should have access to them; still not sure if swarm fly so it may have effect or it may not.
Hope this help
Have fun

It ended with my main character doing 5-10 points damage a round.
In fact the key was to control the non swarm opponents with multip[le spells. And then have like hours to deal with the swarms.
I still dont get why my main is the only one who was doing damage with his weapon.
None of Camellia skill or whatever was able to do anything.
And same for my archer when i ran out of special arrows.
Really for me swarms are by far the most difficult opponent in that game i have seen so far including Kingmaker.
