Then In pnp the spellcraft skill would be used to identify spells when they are being cast, but that's not in the game, same with identify creatures, the inspect function is pretty much always a given, so while the lore checks happen at the start of battle, it's not really important.
The religion lore might be of some use if you need to want to use the first aid ability in battle (to cure a disease or poison fast).
The stealth check might be used with the invisility spells.
There might be some uses for athletism to resist some effects.
Perception and trickery are pretty much out of combat skills.
Amazing game horrid ui, I’m still constantly struggling to find answers like these as there isn’t no easy way to find this info
(Finished kingmaker so add that to my hrs in this is around 140 or so)
Any chance you can answer this bit as well:
So I respec my characters… however I always try to swap stuff in and out, if I make a mistake on my level up for some stupid reason then I can’t go back to that previous level in the respec level up screen… really frustrating, is there a mod that allows me or a way that when you respec you can exit the screen after level up once?
That way I can select something, double check, quicksave and select something on the next level up… rinse repeat instead of having to do lv 1-20 all at once
You can't go back to previous levels if you already did all the choices for those.
I never used the ingame respec, only did with the respec mod. With the mod you can do one level, confirm, close the screen, save, and then continue where you left off, since it resets you to level 1. Is it not like this with the base game?
But to go back and edit the levels already set, you'll need toybox. There you can manually add or remove feats, class levels, and a bunch of other stuff so you don't have to start over.
Which respec mod?
Pretty sure it’s base game but respecting ingame means you have to select every level up and myth from square 1 (when you got the character)
