Alex Mishulin (Creative Director) said in his Season Pass 2 announcement video 5 months ago that a team at Owlcat remains exclusive to WotR. He also said to Pathfinder: "And we have a lot of ideas for future adventure." And: "We continue to make new content in the form of DLCs for our game."
That depends entirely on the content of the DLC's.
A DLC that motivates many players to play through the game again would have a good chance of bringing back many former players. This could be achieved, for example, with a DLC that offers engame content, i.e. after the current end...
I agree.... I took a break from this game for a while cause of patches in the beginning... this current DLC with Ulbrig brought me back to it instead of waiting for second DLC to be finished...
