Desna's Altar near Lost Chapel

For some reasons the sextant didn't drop. Is there anything you gain from activating that thing?
From my research it doesn't seem so? Aru pops up then goes away again, if I understood it correctly? But appears later anyway?

RP wise it's a shame since I chose Desna as my deity and will take Azata Path, but I won't repeat dozens of fights just for that.

This Altar is for you to recruit Arue early in Act 2 instead of Act 3. And to early roleplay as Azata.
Sextant is not a drop. It is constant loot on long dead of human at middle of road between Cave and Altar.

It's not a drop. Both parts are found in 'containers.' One on a crusader body found near a pair of succubus. Between the altar and the lower cave. The other in the cave itself. The third part is already in the altar.

Chances are you've either already picked it up or just didn't spot the body. Use the highlight key and you should spot it. Or it will appear as a bag on the map if you walked close and didn't see it.

I checked the inventory, so I didn't pick it up. And there's no loot left that's seen. However, I will return to the map and check again at the exact spot.

Failing that you can always use a mod to add it.

Thanks, I found it ... also some more enemies and other stuff. Turns out I didn't uncover the whole map, I just thought I did. Even manged the puzzle by accident (planned on looking it up but didn't need to).
