Then you have a dozen archetypes which shift into animals via class features. Druid, Shifter, Metamorph, Feral Champion, Beastkin Berserker, ect.
And then you can also shapeshift via spells, Witch hexes and Shaman spirit powers.
Suffice to say the list is quite excessive.
A permanent (toggle) shapeshift is preferred, with no flashy effects, though infinite uses is acceptable.
I will continue working with my Arcanist, at least to see what she is capable of.
Any class and archetype with access to wild shape (or similar polymorph features) can transform into felines of sorts. Shifter can shapeshift into a tiger, others into leopard and smilodon. For infinite uses you're limited to either Shifter's or Druid's capstone at 20th level. That is, if you don't take the Master Shapeshifter mythic ability before then.
Griffonheart Shifter is unlocked via TabletopTweaks Base[github.com]. Simply follow the mod instructions for installing the mod.
Ahh thank you so much for the mod link, as well as the advice. I will make a Shifter character in the future, just getting into the story with my current class so I'll be fine with Ulbrig in my party for now.
Interestingly enough, my Arcanist IS a kitsune, and I absolutely refuse to use her human form. :3
