Star Rattle not Dropping Loot

Am I the only one experiencing this? I kill Star Rattle after a gruelling slog through the Midnight Isles (during the main game), and he just dies, and drops nothing. On previous playthroughs I would get the Broken Trickster Mask, but this time, no matter how many times I kill him, just nothing.

Is this a universal problem? Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss a perception check??

Guess it is affecting everyone then? Hope the fix it soon. Does anyone know if it is possible to leave the first set of islands uncompleted in Act 3 and finish them in Act 4? I would hate to waste the awesome tanking power of the Trickster mask.

Yes, you can play the early isles in chapters 4 and 5. I started the isles DLC in chapter 4 in my previous game and it worked fine. For the time being, I reloaded a save before I entered the final island of chain 1 and left the entirety of the DLC for later when it's patched.

Thanks, it looks like that's what I'll do for now. Hopefully they fix it soon! Some majorly important loot on those isles!

I reported this bug and contacted Owlcat from Twitter. They confirmed that they will be releasing an update fixing this issue, along with a few others.

I got the star rattle achievement yesterday while not even playing the dlc.

What was the boss suppose to drop? Anything essential or just good loot? I'm asking cause if it's the former I'd rather use toybox to get it than wait for a fix, I'm already way beyond this (I thought it was odd the chest in the room was not lootable, but thought nothing of it)

The item that dropped was the Broken Trickster mask - arguably best-in-slot for a lot of characters. It gave +6 CHA and WIS, which freed up a head slot for something useful (such as Shy Lily's Helmet), and granted 20 damage resistance to the energy type that hit you for a short time when you were hit, or generic resistance if you were hit my physical damage, which made it super useful for anyone in the front line. It was worth pausing your entire playthrough to wait for it to be added back, like I did.

As I understand it, they deliberately removed it but have decided to restore it next week. I've moved on tho because I need the Ring of Triumphant advance too badly on my Azata build to delay it that long.

Seems it's still bugged; I just killed it but no loot from the boss. :(

Think the patch is/was supposed to come this week. Or maybe that was the info on the patch.

yeah they said patch and info early this week.... seems like it was delayed...

It's been almost a month since the issue has been reported and devs said it would be added back last week. No news yet...

The first time i reported whit issue was on Febuary 27th during the beta so yea.
