I'm not familiar with that specific thing, but pretty much all shapechanging effects do not change your creature type. And spells target that specific creature type. So the characters will still be humanoids regardless of what shape they are in. Looking like a bear or a plant doesn't make you a bear or a plant.
Hagbound turns you into a monstrous humanoid (who are also immune to Hold Person) at 20th level. Monks become outsiders at 20th level, while Student of Stone becomes an outsider with the earth subtype. Tranquil Whisperer becomes an outsider as well during their capstone.
