Is Shillelagh in the game?
I normally don't play casters, but I created a druid recently and was looking for the Shillelagh spell. I was thinking it was a level 1 spell, but I do not see it in the spellbook.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help!

Wow. That seems so strange. I wonder why they left it out.

Probably because a Demon Lord wouldn't really care about your +1 staff.

Then again, there is a spell that turns pets against owners, I haven't seen a single enemy pet at all, except maybe the baby ice dragon ...

It's a very niche spell. It's on one class spell list, is only useful until you have a magical weapon (which in this game is what, a couple of hours in?), and works on what is a niche weapon type to begin with.

Don't get me wrong I loved the spell on my druid in pnp, but in WotR it would seem unnecessary.

WotR has much better itemization progression than Kingmaker did, and you get +1 magical weapons for everyone way slower than in that game, so it would be of more use than many other 1st level spells like say firebelly or ray of sickness. The real killer though would be the quick prevalence of enemies with DR, which would also hurt the effectiveness of the other Druidic weapon spells that Owlcat didn’t add.

But for the OP, if you have Kingmaker I would encourage trying the Call of the Wild mod with that; it adds not only Shillelagh, but produce flame, flame blade, and frostbite. Maybe someone will also replicate these and in a Wrath mod one day too.

About five minutes, actually.
