the "fallen horse"

i'm confused by this thing, it appeared on the city map, just below defenders rest. i traveled to it and it says "press A to enter" and i tell it to enter and nothing happens. i just stay on the city map.
the description of the horse says "you can harvest materials from the saddlebags"

what's goin on here? i can't seem to interact with this thing

Some locations you don't actually enter. They just give you some crafting materials.

You should have been gifted materials when you traveled to the spot. You can't enter. Its essentially what you'd call a harvest node in other games.

I see. i guess it just "put" stuff in my inventory then? would have been great if it had some sort of message saying what i got. . and having the prompt "press A to enter" is just confusing.

There is definitely quick a popup message that shows what you got.
You probably just missed it.

I don't play with a controller but that prompt sounds confusing.

must have been super fast. . .i hit the "A" on the controller to "enter" and nothing seemed to happen,mexcept now it says i "visited" it, so i guess i got whatever it gave me. i just have no idea what it gave me.

edit : yeah, i found "hanged cultist" and it was the same thing. it said i could collect reagents there. when i moved to it. I got a popup saying "reagents collected", but it didn't say exactly what i got. i guess if it's just common crafting materials, it just stacks with the others i have
