This video probably has a good build as you’d have slick (grease) for the early levels and some absolutely broken damage later on, assuming that deadly earth remains unchanged. No idea if it would be fun to play however.

what is essential party composition skill wise? Problem is i work a lot and i am 35 now and have missed some ofthe rpgs but really want to finish this one
Here's a quick, but extremely good one: despite Seela looking like she'd be extremely bad at the mobility skill, it is absolutely required for her to function correctly. She's so dependent on the skill for keeping her mount alive that giving her skill focus (mobility) and mythic skill focus (mobility) are actually worthwhile choices.
The thing about mounted combat is that the mount will always take the hit for her (unless targeted by an AOE in which case both get hit), and she can use the Mounted Combat and Indomitable Mount feats to negate some of those hits. By giving her these skill focuses many hits and spells will just automatically be negated because of how reliable her mobility check will be (automatically taking a 10 when doing so will succeed).
While mounted, and the mount being the primary target, this also means that seela doesn't need to be wearing the heaviest armor and you can switch it to something else that gives better bonuses and reduced armor check penalty (making her mobility skill even higher).
If you're running with mods like Respec, it's worth changing her paladin archetype to Divine Guardian to use Divine Trough on the mount.
This should give you a pretty good idea of what's possible. Lots of op builds on this channel if you want to look around

If you make a dedicated spellcaster, you could learn large area spells and lob it across the debris before fighting Minahgo.
Gendarme Cavalier, human. Take mounted combat and spirited charge for your first 2 feats. Gives you double damage on a charge immediately. You get your mount at level 1
When they nerfed unfair, the minmaxing requirement for it kinda fell off,
So when i read people having an hard time on Normal/hard/core and having to lower difficulty i can easily see the problem, and more often than not it is always the same.
Bad strategy due to little knowledge of game mechanics.
True there are bad party compositions and bad MC builds but unless you actively build a character to do no damage, there is not way you are forced to lower difficulty to easy to win a fight
Oh, and last thing.
Pathfinder is a table-top TURN-BASED game. If you play it RTWP you're bending, breaking, ignoring some game rules, and that will make some classes extremely weak, and some fight extremely hard. Ofc due to bad AI implementation, Turn-based will also make some fight harder but that is how it goes
TLDR;
You should be able to complete the game on unfair with ANY MC build, you just need the right strategy. Without giving us details of how/what went wrong in that fight it is hard to pinpoint the problem
1. buff before battle, spells like haste, mage armor, mirror image, greater magic weapon, crusaders edge, enlarge person, heroism, true seeing, bulls strength, etc,
make a huge difference
1.1. another good way to buff before battle is with hexes from the shaman or witch classes using fortune hex (lets you roll twice every attack) and protective luck (makes every one roll twice to hit you) with cackle (extends the duration of certain hexes by 12 seconds i Think?), by Spamming cackle you can keep increasing the duration of your hexes,
this can it can be quite strong but its a hassle to do before battle so you normally only use it when you really struggling
2. if you want your MC to be a Melee fighter pick a class with a high Base attack Bonus (BAB) like Barbarian, Bloodrager, Cavalier, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Shifter, Slayer, etc.
Having a higher BAB will allow you to attack more and hit more often.
3. Try to have a Divine caster and arcane caster for a wide variety of spells for buffing and fighting (certain spells are class locked so cusaders edge for example can't be learned by a druid even tough they are divine spell caster) p.s. you don't need both if you only can fit one on your team a divine caster such as sosiel or daeran are arguably better
3.1. you can see what spell a class can cast be hovering over the spell level on the class screen and right click to expand
4. AC (armor class) is the number that you have to reach when you attack to hit some one or
for them to hit you, if your flat-footed (caught by surprise or some other effect making you flat-footed) you will lose your dexterity bonus to AC
5. read what effects feats and items have you could equip and item like stern hand without reading the effect properly and be wondering why your horse is attacking you
6.make sure you don't forget to equip everyone with the best gear you have p.s. also take everything off characters your not using.
7.when it comes to party composition anything is fine for normal as long as you have at least one party member to buff everyone you should be fine but as an example a basic party could look like this: Cleric, Cavalier, Bard, Magus, Witch, Fighter.
8. try not to deviate from a class to much or at all unless you know what your doing or following a guide
well thats everything i can think of of the top of my head
tl:dr buff before battle, use high BAB classes for melee, stick to your class if you don't know what your doing, Read your feats and item descriptions.
