[Spoilers] Legend Mythic Path, need advice on second class
I'm playing as a Dual Wield Demonslayer with a single dip in Rogue. The build I'm using focuses on Finesse and crits Piranha Strike, Mythic Finesse, Improved Criticals and Critical Focus). I took the Legend mythic path and I just completed it so I maxed my Demon Hunter and now I have to select a new class and I have no idea what to pick. Should I continue with Rogue or select something else? My character is Dex based and is dual wielding shortswords and I'm not sure what would synergize with that. I'm wondering if just going straight Fighter and maybe concentrating on BAB and continue concentrating shortswords would be a good path to take. Anyway, I'm not really a power amer and I don't usually min/max since I play on Normal difficulty so I have no idea where to go from here. Rogue seems obvious but I'm not sure the gains are worth it.

Is Demon Hunter a subset of Ranger? I'm not familiar with the class / archetype.

You could pick Slayer and and try to maximize two-weapon fighting with the studied target bonuses (+1 to hit/dmg every 5th level) and the extra slayer talents and feats. Additionally you'll get +6d6 Sneak Attack damage when applicable.

There's also the tried and true Vivisectionist Alchemist that would give you mutagens, access to some spell casting, and more sneak attack damage.

I wrote Demon Hunter but meant Demonslayer.

I don't know about the specific implementation of Studied Target in WOTR, but theoretically it should stack with Favored Enemy, which if I recall is +8 Atk/Dmg at 20th. A 20th level Slayer gets +5 atk/dmg via this ability so you could potentially get that to +13. They're both untyped bonuses so they -should stack-, but I can't find anything about this online either for Wrath or the Table Top. So if that interested you, you might have to make a save and investigate before proceeding.

two solid options there. Another one, depending on what you took for Hunter's Bond, might be something focused on Mounted Combat - some sort of Cavalier comes to mind - because what's better than having lots of attacks from Dual Wielding? Getting to use them all the time because you dont spend any effort on lame things like walking!

Or, sort of similar vein if you already have a pet but aren't riding it (or dont want to for style reasons) - just be angry enough to Charge Full Attack all day long! As in, Barbarian (or Primalist Bloodrager) with Animal Totem rage powers. The latter even gets you lvl4 Arcane spells, which means Mirror Image and other fun self-cast goodies to make you stay alive.

What's your alignment?

1)Vivisectionist

https://pathfinderwrathoftherighteous.wiki.fextralife.com/Vivisectionist

with Grand Mutagen Discovery down the road:

+ Good set of buffs and capability to buff your party with personal range spells if you pick Infusion Discovery:

https://pathfinderwrathoftherighteous.wiki.fextralife.com/Alchemist+Spells

+ Full sneak dice progression

2) Mutation Warrior - also has access to mutagen, fighter archetype, so no spells but full BAB + a LOT of feats

https://pathfinderwrathoftherighteous.wiki.fextralife.com/Mutation+Warrior

Both archetypes are very straightforward/easy to build and really strong.

Mutation Warrior always solid choice for any martial, due to Mutagen+Weapon Training+Full BAB+Greater Weapon Focus+Weapon Specialization.

5 levels of Hellknight gives Smite Chaos and Favored enemy - you already have Demon, so Monstrous Humanoid (Order of the Nail).

Yeah going with some fighter levels is a good idea to bring your weapon to full efficiency.

If you're lawful good, going paladin is a very good idea. mark of justice, smite evil and the weapon bond will add a lot of power to your attacks. If you have a pet and pick the divine mount instead, you'll have some stupid tank with you.

Depending on your weapons, warpriest offers very good options too.

I'm Neutral Good so Paladin is out. As for pet I went with the Leopard who seems to work really well since he's extremely hard to hit and constantly knocks enemies over.
