Feyform shifter: Dex or Str
For the feyform shifter, do you prefer Strength oder Dexterity based builds. Dexterity increases AC and initiative too, but costs additional feats. Is this trade worth it or do you simply play strength builds?

Definitely dexterity, don't go stregnth. Get wpn finesse, wpn focus claw, shifters edge, and the slashing focus claw. That adds your dedterity to damage, and half your shifter level.
The fey form increases strength and reduces dex, so it made the most sense to me to just go for a strength build with it. It's been working pretty well.

Dex, but since you can dump Int/cha you can still start whit decent str.

Shifters edge adds half your level to damage, but only with an attack that uses dexterity. It is an actual dps loss to go stregnth over dex. Especially since you can use slashing focus, claw, and add dex to damage on top of it.

Shifters edge specifically says "attacking with weapon finesse feat and you use your dexterity bonus on attacks rolls and your strength modifier on damage rolls, you also add half shifter level to damage"
So either it's worded really poorly, or you misread it, since the way it's written, it's only if your strength is bigger than your dex when attacking with finesse it does something, which seems really wonky. So you'd need to build both high dex and high str to make any use of it, unless I misunderstand ?

I think its worded around not using mythic wpn finesse. Which removes the stregnth modifier and adds dex.

So it's worded poorly and you can just ignore strength all together and still get the bonus with myth finesse ? Incredible. Thank you!

I doubt it works with mythic finesse. Besides why would you waste an epic feat on something you dont need.

No. Thats not what I said at all.

Yea but that's the same result, using dex instead of strength for damage, which is what myth finesse does, only for all weapons instead of a specific one. So since it works with fencing, it should work with finesse too.
The ability says "strength for damage", but we can see here dex is used for damage, and the bonus still applies, so shouldn't matter why the dex is used for damage. End result should be the same.

Your conclusion may or may not be valid. However, it still wasnt what I said, and I wanted to make sure you knew that.
Will have to test it obviously, it could be a bug. But it would mean forms that have attacks with secondary weapons, wings, bites etc, and not only just claws could benefit massively. Feyform also gets wing attacks too I'm pretty sure, so even better.

I dont think it will work with mythic finesse personally. However, I obviously dont know, since my character is only in act 1 and is only lvl 7
It doesn't work with finesse, so I'm guessing it's a bug it works with fencing, since the end result is the same. The more you know.
