Lead Blades + Shifter Claws

It doesn't seem as if Lead Blades is increasing the damage die of Shifter Claws. This seems a little strange to me, since Lead Blades does increase the damage die of unarmed strikes (providing you have the Improved Unarmed Strike feat).

Is this working as intended?

Lead blades only works with manufactured weapons. The description in the spell is really badly worded and isn't any better in the tabletop which has lead to a lot of arguments over the years.

Unfortunately they didn't add Strong Jaw spell to the game which would increase your claw damage. But it would probably still fail to work. Last I looked Animal Growth still isn't increasing the damage die for animal companions that have hit their natural size increase.
