Spell uses, shared or not?
So, Ember have a few spells, and several uses, but they're shared. Like, I have 4 uses for example, and using any spell puts them all at 3.

Woljif for example is different, he has several spells, and all with 1 use, but it's not shared, I can use all of them 1 time.

Why is it different? I'm trying to understand the reason but can't figure it out.

Ember's class is a spontaneous caster class, Woljif's is a prepared caster class.
Press B to open their spellbook to be able to tell them apart easily.
Spontanous casters like sorcerers and Ember will have a x/y casts on the left and can cast any spell they know, so long they have casts left.
Prepared ones like wizards and Woljif will a bunch of empty boxes. When leveling and learning new spells, you'll have to manually decide which ones you want available from the ones they know

this is correct... also for the spontaneous casters... taking metamagics that increase the spell level and applying them will essentially give you more casts... take snowball for instance... a level 1 spell normally... on a spontaneous caster as long as you know it you can cast it as many times as you want as a level 1 spell... learning metamagics like bolster, empowered, and maximize feats... you can take that level 1 spell and increase it by 1 with bolster... 2 with empower... and 3 with maximize... allowing you to cast level 1 snowball.... level 2 bolstered snowballs.... level 3 empowered snowballs.... level 4 maximized snowballs... level 5 maximized bolstered snowball... level 6 maximized bolstered empowered snowball.....though you probably wont want to use the much higher ones cause of better spells at higher levels... they still pretty much gives your lower level spells more power and damage... and allows you to be more... "spontaneous" with your caster.... or you can pick heighten metamagic and place it on something like like a buff that you use a lot like haste.... allowing you to cast haste from level 3 to level 9 spell slots just in case you run out of 3rd level spells and need haste more than your higher level ones...

While this is true do note that if a spontaneous caster uses a metamagic feat the spell becomes a full round action so you cannot move and cast it while prepared caster metamagic spells are still standard actions.

you can 5 foot step though... just not a full move action as a spontaneous caster....
