Shifter is good but shifter feats are BLAH!

I think shifter on the whole and it's archetypes look great but have you guys seen how bad the shifter specific feats are!? Considering shifters don't get any bonus feats these are rough. Like energized wild shape which just gives you a 10 bonus to a chosen energy resistance while giving you 1d6 chosen energy damage.

Love the class but the feats they got are mostly worthless. Hopefully they make them a bit better

Snake sword lady's sword attacks, are natural attacks. Same with a balors longsword, or brimorak's longsword. The fiend shifter could give the other forms a much needed boost in popularity.

Shifter's Edge is a top tier feat... Shifter Multiattack is also good. You literally picked the only bad feat to complain about then said they are all bad.

Good point on the demon mythic path with fiend shifter. But base shifter would still do that better than fiend shifter.

Base minor forms are better than the fiend shifter minor forms (chimera combining 5 forms is amazing).

The Shifter's defense wis to AC is much better than fiendflesh as well.

Balor form gives more stats though. Fiend still gets +4 inherent bonuses to stregnth, con, dex. The question is how the natural attacks work with fiend shifter. Does longsword get its multiplier, and base damage increased? I have no idea.

Fiend can only have one of the forms active at a time. So only +4 dex, str, or con. Base can have +6 str, dex, and con, and +6 dodge to AC and +6 damage to natural attacks all at the same time.

The claw mods on the longsword would be interesting... give me a couple min ill throw one together in IE.

So you can't select the longsword as the shifter attack, but the gore did work.

Lvl 20 capstone should let you have all 4 evils up at the same time. So it says.

I thought the same thing, but in testing it just means you can use each one individually at will (removes the 1 min intervals).

Wish we had access to the gryphon shifter for midnight isle stand alone though. That subclass looks nice too!

I'm not sure what the devs thought with fiend shifter, especially if it doesn't work with the demon mythic path. It gives up everything, and gets 1/5 of what it once had, and a weaker version at that. They feyshifter gets 4/5 of everything, and full sneak dice+ evasion and talents.

No shifter is one of the most broken things I've seen in a while. X3 multiplier, + attacks on BaB progression, high base damage, and wisdom bonus to ac. You lack future sight on this one. Lich can get mythic damage to natural attacks, and you can get mythic damage to charge. A lich shifter will do a ridiculous amount of damage, and it's all x5.

Even worse is a legend. You can get x7 15-20, and around like 16 attacks. It's insane.

Yeah I'm planning on Legend - Manticore Shifter 20 and Demonslayer Ranger 20.

The dude will be a one man archery battalion.
