character stuck in combat animation

They still do everything just fine, but they're permanently standing with weapon drawn as if a fight is supposed to start. It's especially annoying in cutscenes. Is there something simple I can do to stop it?

Are you using any mods? Try to play without them, maybe they need to be updated

Found out that quicksave and quickload will stop it, so I'll just go with that when it happens. I don't need to update the mods right now; I'm playing on the previous version for a while until the mods I use all have an update.
