is Life bubble bugged?.... Mechanic and description dont seem to match...

I took a long break from the game.... life bubble used to affect a target and hit also nearby allies.... now it doesnt do that anymore.... found old patch notes saying they fixed the "range"... but not sure if they meant it was something like medium range to close range.... or the AOE part affecting nearby allies.....

but in game the description of the spell it keeps saying how it affects "subjects" and uses plurals that seem to imply that it SHOULD affect multiple targets.... so im not sure which is which... is it a bug that it used to affect more than one ally nearby?..... or is it a bug that the spell description keeps using plurals like "the subjects" instead of "the target" or something...

just curious since I havent seen any posts really question that so far....
