How can i heal someone with affinity to negative energy?
Embers pet has affinity to negative energy so how can i heal him and why can he be damaged in fight?

Well typically you can just use the inflict wounds spells and potions or the channel negative energy ability. Positive energy will harm things with negative energy affinity, so casting cure spells or using healing potions will hurt him.

Just out of curiosity, how did you get her a pet with negative affinity?

And if you dont have any of this this char/pet will die sooner or later?

Did you choose the archetype ``Deathtouched" for your pet (it's like the pet's class, you choose it when you first get it)? You can check by going to the class tab for your pet. If that's the case and you don't like it, you can respec (if you're not on high difficulty). If it has another archetype like Wrecker or Bully for example, then it might be a bug.

You can buy inflict damage scrolls and potions at vendors and you can find them occasionally. If your party isn't built to support undead memebers then it can be a little annoying, but not the end of the world.

Well, it's not that they'll just lay down and die. It's just the same as if you had no healing spells. You have no way to recover from wounds outside of resting, so you'll probably be resting a lot more often and for a lot longer or risk dying more often in battle.

In kingmaker I made a party of 6 clerics with channel negative energy and got them all negative energy affinity (Death domain mainly).

In battle i'd just spam channel negative energy, healing my party and damaging enemies.

Got a bit boring after a while.... also, undead were an issue.

Sounds like an interesting strategy ;)

As others have answered above. Some small tip.

I believe there is a path for lich that allows you to heal with positive energy also- but at 50% effectiveness? I do not remember what it is called.
