So, I have communal protection of fire that should suck up 120 fire damage and also I have Azata's rainbow dome which grants immunity to fire and still he manages to one shot my party with fire spells

Mephistopheles has Ascendant Element Fire. He bypasses all fire resists and immunities.

So, a way to deal with the bastard? He has 41 spell resistance, I can't even dispell buffs from him

What difficulty are you on?

Have you tried stabbing him with a pointy stick?

I'm able to reduce him to about half hp. And then he starts casting several fire snakes and fire storm in one round, wiping my party.

It can be useful to have characters that are really, really good in whatever role you choose for them. Generally, this becomes more important as the difficulty increases.

He has 41 spell resistance.
By the time you fight Meph, I don't think SR 41 should be a problem for caster roles that need to overcome spell resistance - although to be fair, that's based on the Aeon version of Meph where you're presumably level 18 of higher. (Maybe I'm about to be surprised by Meph in my current Azata run on my way to the Ivory Sanctum?)

In this Azata run, I just fought the wintersun ancient blighted treant at level 12. I has Ember cast a bolstered (or maybe it was maximized) scorching ray and I looked at the spell resistance check. Her modifier was +30*, so hopefully SR 41 won't be a problem if I make it far enough to fight Meph.

breakdown of the +30:
+12 caster level
+2 elf
+2 spell pen
+2 greater spell pen
+4 mythic spell pen
+4 morale from a level 2 azata spell
+2 from an item
+2 from another item

I have greater dispel only on Ember and Daeran. They both have +33 spell penetration. I confused SR with DR then. Greater dispel is not affected by spell resistance it does only have DR. The DR is 41. The check is d20+ the caster level (19) if I'm not mistaken. So there's no way of dispelling his buffs without a merged mythic spellbook or the legend path.

Yes - definitely more difficult to dispel that generic "good" builds might not be able to accomplish. That's why it can be important to be really, really good in multiple combat features. For my Aeon run, dealing a lot of damage quickly worked - Meph didn't get any actions. I'm unlikely to get that far in my Azata run, but if I do, I might not have a good enough strategy / builds to make it work.

I wanted something exotic and I've tried a "fun" build, - 1 lvl eldritch scoundrel, 1 lvl vivisectionist, 8 lvl wizard, 10 lvl arcane trickster, well now it lacks only 1 lvl of wizard. The point is to make a ton of sneak attacks with aoe spells. But the build turned out to be weaker than I expected and especially weak with single targets. Perhaps I should restart with something more reliable.

I found that Mephistopheles provokes a lot of AoOs; my mercenary halfling Divine Hound Hunter beat him down with AoOs, helped by Every Ready. This was on Hard (Azata).

You'll need to increase Greater Dispel spell level to have a chance of dispelling Mephi. Invest in spell focus abjuration, spell mastery abjuration (mythic) and spell specialization : greater dispel. This will increase your greater dispell spell level to +3.

So you'll need class level+greater dispel level+dice roll>41
19+3+20>41
You have dispel Memphis and knock his ac to 67. You can continue dispelling him if you wish cause he still have buffs on him.

There is also a belt (forgot name) that will increase your spell level +1 whenever you drink a potion. You can buy this belt in drezen with the person outside the temple I think

You'll also probably want to use that spectacle (forgot name) that guarantee your dice roll at 20.

Social can use his luck to increase your chances of getting good dice roll to dispel.

Oh yeah that was a aoo party. But the problem is that his ac is 75. I rarely land a hit. The battle goes well until he decides to spam a lot of highly damaging spells in one round.
