Starting game with controller A not working when choosing KB or controller

Any idea how to fix this,tried my Bluetooth PS controller and USB xbox controller,tried them both anther game and there working fine.

Why use a controller for this game? Might need to download a program that lets you build out custom key sets.

Hooked my pc up too 120 inch 4k projector and trying to play from the couch,controllers both work on other games in steam fine,just not able to recognize it on PFwotW

Go to steam settings > controller > general controller settings. In there make sure PlayStation configuration and Xbox configuration support are enabled. If not enable them and then restart steam.

You might need to go into the controller settings in steam for wrath of the righteous (not in game) and choose the game pad with camera controls in the recommended layout section.
