It's really not a waste considering many builds used to use Kitsune just to be able to get that buff, for fighters you really don't need a lot of mythic power beyond Ever ready and Last stand.
Honestly for none-caster getting a +4 physcial ability scores is a better boost then most mythic powers.
If you are a physical attacker picking Master shapeshifter as a extra mythic power over a mythic feat is a better choice that 80% of the mythic feats.
Besides, just beacuse there are ``many builds" that do something doesn't mean it's the best choice. In any case, I wasn't saying the ability hasn't been buffed -- of course it has. All I was saying is that ``giving your entire party the bonus... starting at level 4" was not possible, and not a good strategy. You'd probably have 1-2 party members for whom it'll be worth it, and it very well might not be your first pick (meaning it will come at MR 2 or later, so waaay later than level 4).
I don't think there are any class specific items either.
While that's true they already have some powerful synergy whit the Azata mythic path, on the other hand now Ranger and Hunter's can get this buff by just casting Aspect of the falcon and Demon Slayer/ Divine hound are two classes that definitely did not need to be any stronger then they already are.
