I recommend following this guide (it will make your life a lot easier):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nrBC7TGgeo
Includes a spreadsheet with puzzle solutions.
I'm using another guide its all written but thanks
Hopefully this doesn't negatively effect Iz since I left right when Bone Hills was revealed by Halrun, its a ! quest so I don't want it to fail if the chapter ends
I would use video guides if I had another screen which I'm lacking
I think the debuffs consist of dispelling an active spell on the person that picks up the loot.
[EDIT] To clarify, the debuffs are in the upper left quadrant of the Main Halls.
Thanks
Man this is tedious. And the enemies are too easy for this point in the game
I couldn't imagine trying to spend the time to solve all the puzzles on my own.
I wonder how many people actually do that, I imagine when the game was new there were no guides
For that I'd rather play an actual puzzle game
Stupid Nenio lol
The final boss fight can be a bit tricky, although it's perhaps the easiest of the Demon Lord fights (I do recommend making a hard save before you go through the portal to the Pyramid Summit). You have a chance to get another fresh Nahindrian crystal for the Ascension ending, if you're going for that.
Okay so midnight bolt during battle?
I know for one of them it wasn't til after the fight
It's been ridiculously easy with the robe Wrath of the Undead, almost everything flees other than those not affected by emotion
I actually removed it and put on a normal cloak because was getting tired of chasing tons of cultists all over the complex
I think it's bugged too and they can get affected by it over and over
Toybox-ed the stones. It helped.
Almost makes me want to cheat just to bypass. Anyway I'm to the last puzzle now. This has been a two day thing now.
Did you actually solve the puzzles without help
It took me about a week the first time too, or maybe eight days, and I was meta gaming! I usually play two hours a day after office hours while waiting for traffic to die down. After the fourth or fifth day or something and still being stuck there, it felt like I was playing another game entirely. Instead of stress release from my daily grind, it was stress heightening.
There's no way I'd go thru that again. By toyboy-ing the stones, I could just finish the place immediately and exploring became a CHOICE instead of a necessity, which actually made it somewhat fun. After my first run, I'm usually out of there in an hour now.
I finished that area tonight. I liked it.
I found the puzzles very straight forward due to jotting down some notes as I went. Was/is there anything in particular that you found hard?
A week! Offt.
I did it in about an hour-ish. I solved the puzzles without external help (I know you weren't asking me, I just thought I'd say since you seem curious).
