[Spoiler] Wenduag late recruitment benefits?
So, I got to the point in Act 3 where I met Wenduag again. My actul intention is to kill her, for all she'd done to her own people and the madness clearly driving her. I know some love her, but I really can't warm for her at this point and I know that she'll betray me later on, if I recruit her now.

However, I've given the chance to let her go if I choose and pass the bad diplomacy check. And I've heard, she'll join you in Act 5 if you do so. Is there any benefit coming from that? Or just another compagnion?

Just another companion. Not necessarily a bad thing though. Depends on the path you've chosen, you may be liable to lose a companion or two and she usually makes a good replacement.

By the way did you choose the evil option when you let her go? I heard she doesn't come back unless you pick that option.

She'll join as another companion, and while there are no direct benefits to it (other than having an additional party member, of course), there are no downsides either. You just won't get her good ending, as you haven't done her quests. But that's all, really.

Depending on your party composition, she makes a more than decent DD, and she helped me plenty during my fight against Mephistopheles. Personality-wise, I disliked her greatly as well, but I admit she was quite handy to have around.
