Ulbrig gets a griffon one players won't have access to. Other Shifter archetypes, or wildshape forms, aren't officially revealed yet.

But it's safe to assume Owlcat won't just merely re-use Druid wildshapes. Otherwise there wouldn't be much of a point creating a new class.

I'm willing to bet not the weird one...

OOZEMORPH (ARCHETYPE)
While most shifters are trained in druidic traditions that allow them to tap into animalistic powers, others look instead to the simplest forms of life for inspiration. Known as oozemorphs, these shifters focus on the ooze—a form of life as simple in construction as it is dangerous in combat. While some shifters consider the oozemorph to be unsettling or even vile, these shifters merely embrace a stranger form of life than most. They are not inherently evil, yet they are often misunderstood by druidic circles and these circles’ shifter champions.

The base game has:
  • Bat ( suspect not in the game - no darkvision, and also flies in later levels)
  • Bear
  • Bull
  • Deinonychus
  • Falcon (probably not in, due to flying at later levels)
  • Frog
  • Lizard
  • Monkey
  • Mouse ( you are really a dire rat)
  • Owl (see flying problem )
  • Snake
  • Stag
  • Tiger
  • Wolf
  • Wolverine

If you go digging in the kingmaker Reddit forums, a user “Randiel”(?) has periodically datamined the game each patch and found code for shifter mechanics. Several posts described the archetypes and forms that might be available.

Edit: here’s one of the guy’s threads. Search for his other Datamining thread posts for more shifter info. Just beware that code being in game doesn’t guarantee their actual presence in the released DLC

I'm really hoping for Swarm Shifter. It's such a fun archetype I really want to see it in the game (and would justify this dlc making a new class)

Oozemorph, also known as "reincarnated as a slime" xD
