Why is there no steam workshop?

This is just speculation on my part, but my suspicion is that they don't want to publicly encourage mods because of the tendency of players to lose their minds every time a patch breaks a mod. If that's the case, I don't blame Owlcat.

Hmm, I'm going to assume everyone who wants to add mods knows what nexus is.

Sure. It's not that the game can't be modded. I'm just saying Owlcat might not want to officially encourage it. Just a guess, like I said.

I would think considering how glitchy the core game is, they might be worried mods would create so many problems and bug reports that OwlCat would have a hellulva time figuring out what in the code is creating the problems. I mean, there are lots of bugs that have been in the game for a while now (Kineticist Charged Water doing 1 point no matter what) so if they cannot figure out how to fix an unmodded game ,,,

It's funny how much kinetcists being broken comes up all these years later and not a single fix yet.

The reality is that players go berserk each time a patch breaks a mod. Also most of the best mods aren't on the Nexus but on Github.

The Owlcat discord has a mod section with all of the links.

nah, they moved their devs to Rogue Trader and various other projects so steam workshop integration is on hold indefinitely.

I can understand that, but I also hope they realize the reason I mod the game in the first place is because their games tend to be riddle with bugs and other issues. The first few months this game was out, I lost several saves due to some bizarre bricking problem. That's when I decided it was time to mod.
