Just thought of this(Aeon Path/Vision)
Why do none of the Hellknights have an aura of lawbreaking? The aura vision doesn't seem to care if the law is just or not, only that it was broken, and the Hellknights break the laws of the lands they are in constantly thanks to their evil pragmatism. Heck, by their own metrics, Regill breaks it several times over by lying to me, as much as he tries to rules lawyer his way out of it, the Aeon vision doesn't seem to care, see also the Innkeeper.

Aeon isn't about Mortal Laws. Hellknight Laws and Rules are bound more to the Mortal Spectrum. Aeon is about Cosmic Laws - Things that are fundamentally in conflict with the Law of the Universe. That said, you honestly shouldn't dive too deep into this one friend. It's just frustrate you pointlessly

Owlcat scriptwriters tend to forget the thing they wrote the day before and instead skim, and read the last few words, and build on that.

If you want an example that is well known; Iomedae - States she never lies, then states she doesn't say everything - Which is a LIE of Omission.

Very literally, within the next box of conversation.

There are quite a few holes and issues with narrative flow in WotR.

But they don't care about those either. At least 2 of the cases you can confront people on have nothing to do with 'Laws of the Cosmos' so much as they are 'these people committed a crime by the laws of this city'. Heck, the 'Judgements' during Aeon playthru may be like that sometimes, like murder and such is probably proscribed by the universe here given its nature, but the only way to be a 'True Aeon' is to follow the laws of the place you're in.

As to the second, Aes Sedai have the same thing. Again, she will speak no word that is not true, though the truth she says is not always the truth you hear. That's not bad writing, and nor does it contradict. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥ move, to be sure, but it's not contradictory. Heck, in the game, she's pretty upfront with you, even admitting she's making some of her 'judgement' against you at the start of Act V based off supposition and guesswork, because she has nothing else to go off of, which is an interesting thing for a Deity level entity to admit, and makes me trust her more, even if I disagree.
