Greengate (Act III spoilers):
So, what happens if I make Arueshalae spare the hag with the good option?

She escapes. And then ambushes you when you rest inside Ivory Sanctum.

So there is no reason to let her live at all? It doesn't help Arueshalae's redemption?

Nope.

On a related note, it also irks me that followers of Gyronna don't have a unique option for siding with the hag rather than Arueshalae. Wasted potential right there.

Interesting, but why on earth would I side with a sentient creature who eats sentient beings?

Also, when the hag tells a story, she starts making motions as if she's casting a spell. What happens if you don't stop her?

She teleports away unless you rang the bell (which results in Arue killing the hag)

Because meat is meat? It's not like Arue never ate mortals either.

At least Arue isn't going to keep doing it.

Or she does. Depends which way you do her personal questline.

Yeah, fair, but why cause that?

Not that it matters, it's just nitpicking, but Aru actually says in her act 4 quest that she never ate human flesh (only souls). In the beta she used to say she ate human flesh before Desna changed her but now she's stopped. In the full release it was changed for some reason so that she never did eat it.

You're roleplaying a CE cannibal?

I just don't like having evil characters as main characters. I don't mind as much when they're party members with their own stories and such, but I prefer NG/LG/CG/CN/N, in that order. I just don't get the appeal of playing as a cannibal or inspiring such behaviour in the characters. To each their own, I guess.
