So i can heal dead state or what it is called in english? Threshold to death? And why are rolls at dealer limited?
So this is usually only possible in Drezen and even if camping is ok you lose 8 hrs at least. This is a way to make a game longer but not better. At least the option to buy enough potions/spells but even that was "forgotten".
ofc but that lead to an extreme repetetively gameplay. And that sucks!
i cant remind exactly but maybe Restoration a lvl 4 Spell/potion works for that also.
both are a Clerc spell btw.
in the beginning they are a bit rare but later,
In my Stream i am atm in act 5 and bought plenty of them in drezen and found some while roaming around....
Or you could just pay for the resurrection spells instead of trying to get them for free and then whining about it.
None of my chars has this spell nor i got a roll in the game to teach them this spell. And at lvl 13 only Nenio is able to cast lvl 7 spells.
I have these spells but they dont remove this status. They just resurrect. So what?
Resurrection resurrects dead chars, as the name says. So if you have that you don't have to care about death's door as much, since you can resurrect the chars that died. In the end it doesn't matter if they died in the fight and you resurrected them after or if they didn't die because you cured the death's doors condition before the fight. Unless you could get them up again during the fight, which in my experience rarely happens.
Apart from that it has been said already: Go and rest in a safe place. Or rest somewhere else if your cleric has access to Greater Restoration but is out of it for the day. Just be aware that you need diamond dust to cast it.
Or remove death's door from the game in the difficulties if it annoys you too much. You'll never again have to deal with it, then.
About getting back HP: Resting is the way to go once all healing spells are used up for the day. You'll also want to rest because you used up most of the other helpful spells as well, anyway. Or just to pass some time because of the crusade. Resting with your party is way more productive than just skipping days in crusade mode, which you'll end up doing sooner or later. It's only wasted time in a very few instances where time is of the essence, at the beginning in Drezen for example.
Since i am german i translated it with "complete recovery" instead of "greater restoration". So if i have 6 members i need one magician, one thief, one cleric, one tank at least? So its not really possible to combine completely free?
Is only Drezen a safe place or every bastion? Removing death door seems to be an option since rolls for greater restoration are far too rare in this game.
I dont understand why sellers dont fill up their stocks?
But yes, a well balanced party should have a tank, a spellcaster, a thief (or anyone who can deal with traps and locks) and a cleric (or oracle, they can use cleric spells and abilities). That's 2 more members you can choose freely, or 3 if you combine some of the functions. Woljif for example is both a thief and a spellcaster. You can also use an animal companion as tank.
Before Drezen you have a camp. Not like your party camping but a warcamp. After Drezen there will be somewhere else. And after that it's Drezen again.
Ah, that thing about your translation makes more sense now. I'm German, too, but since I play the game in English I didn't realize what you meant. I did play PnP PF in German, but it's been a while ... And we never got as far as Level 7 spells.
About the merchant's stocks: Of course it's mainly about balance, from the meta perspective. If you could just buy tons of the most powerful potions/scrolls, there would be no challenge. However, there ARE merchants with quite a number of that stuff in the game. They're just there later in the game or are part of the DLC. If you have Mighnight Isles, at the entry to that "dungeon" there is a trader with lots of good stuff.
It sounds as if you come from MMos or something like Diablo maybe? In anything D&D based spamming healing isn't a thing. Neither with spells nor potions (or scrolls). Healing potions are expensive and might even be rare, depending on your setting. That's why you need a cleric AND rest is a thing.
From the ingame perspective: You're basically in a warzone. Shortage of a lot of things is part of the Story, even. So it wouldn't make sense if the merchants had unlimited stocks. (Again, some almost have, which kinda spoils the immersion here).
Woljif is in my group and i have 3 animals to help me in fights. The problem is the limit of spells and that you need 8 hrs rest to rearrange them. That just prolonge the game in a stupid way.
And i am not talking about unlimited stocks but that they fill up some at least.
