Bonuses from multiple weapons
Hi, I have a quick question about a game mechanic:

I have two weapons (specifically a dagger and a quarterstaff) which both provide useful bonuses for my wizard.

I am wondering: Is their respective bonus/enchantment (e.g. "+1 to DC of all savings throws against xyz") only active if the corresponding weapon slot is currently active, i.e. if that weapon is currently selected? Or can I equip both weapons, each in one of the four weapon slots, and benefit from both weapon bonuses at the same time?

You have to equip the weapons you want to use in an active weapon set slot for that. You may equip a dagger in each hand and profit from their passive bonuses (if any), Or use a quarterstaff in both hands instead. Just not both types of weapons at the same time. At least not without having three hands or more.

Only the enchantments of the active slot will be applied to your character. Weapon set slots are just a means for quickly managing weapons to fit encounter situations on the fly.

Only the active weapon slots weapons have any impact on your character. If you have a weapon equipped and shapechange into a form with claws, you loose any bonuses from the weapon for example. There might be a weapon or two designed to give effects to a shapechanged character, not sure.

Quarterstaff is a two handed weapon in WotR as best as I remember, so you cannot equip it and a dagger at the same time. Now, if it were a pair of daggers, and you had the Two Weapon Combat feat, you would be able to get the benefit from both.
