Best Build for Lann?

Ok, I've been really struggling with this nerd the whole time I've been playing this game, which has been a lot. I looked up some builds online but man I don't know. What Lann builds have you guys done and has been successful and fun? Don't really want him to be a Zen Archer.

Oh and that dude Woljif or whatever the hell his nerdy name is, having struggles with him too.

had him as Zen Archer the first time around - did his damage well enough, but so did Aru who also doubled as my Skill Monkey (and tripled as love interest, but thats by the by), so Lann didnt see much use... I hear he makes for a good Cleric though once you get enough Mythic ranks to turn on domain bot mode...

You could go zen archer 3 Crusader Cleric 17 or zen archer 3 divine hound hunter 17 or zen archer 3 sacred hunstman inquisitor 17 or zen archer 3 demonslayer ranger 17. Those all give you a pet, spells and an archery focus. I think crusader cleric makes sense if you don't want either of the primary healers in your party (Daeran or Sosiel) or sacred huntsman if you take along Daeran because they both give access to domains and the community domain's level 8 buff is very, very useful against some of the harder to hit enemies out there. In general having a bard/skald and a cleric with community (and maybe maddness) is really helpful. You can add the paladin auras and mark of justice and maybe an incense synthezier alchemist as yseful secondary buffs.

Personally I would like to see Lann as a melee monk (traditional) or an instinctual warrior (can't do it because of his alignment) just because I've already run him as an archery god and he has good statst for both. Would have to get party buffs elsewhere though.
