why is almost everything about bloodrager bugged?

so i tried making a base bloodrager . i took the bloodline water
at lvl 4 i dont get the 10 cold resistance i should
lvl 6 bonus feats states you can pick dodge but doesnt list it or actually let you pick it
lvl 8 i dont get that 10 additional movement (if this is not suppose to stack with the classes own fast movement why the fk even have it(fast movement even says it should stack))
the amount of spells you can cast at lvl 8 states its 1 1st level and 1 2nd. but in reality its 2 of each. and either theres a hidden mechanic thats stated nowhere that allows me a aditionall slot or this is just bugged again

The extra spells are coming from a bonus based on your casting stat, which for Bloodrager is charisma.

Are you a standard bloodrager or a variant archtype? Also, what bloodline? I am not seeing a movement bonus at 8th level for bloodragers, just the base +10 they get at level 1.

Ah, I bet you picked Water Elemental Bloodline. Hmm, normally they get swim speed but that would not work in WotR. I guess the traits says you get +10 movement speed?

Just to be absolutely certain, you are not wearing heavy armor (banded, half plate, full plate)
and are not encumbered?

The lack of elemental resistance could be a bug or it might be a display error. Any chance you have been hit by a cold attack ( or get hit by one from a friend) to see if you are resisting any of the damage?

i stated that im using the base class so not variant
i stated what bloodline im using
and yes i have been hit with cold energy and it didnt give me resistance

and yes i am wearing chainmai (medium)l i even checkd my speed to be sure it just says 30base+10 fast movement .. instead of the 50ft it should be

Medium armor gives a base land speed of -10. Unless you have 3 levels of fighter for armor training. Also a divine caster can cast effortless armor on you to increase that.

Edit: also, when you were hit with that cold spell, were you bloodraging at the time? Many Bloodrager abilities aren’t passive, but rather only work when you are bloodraging.

chainmail does not give -10
and i dont recall but all bloodrager abilities that only work when bloodrageing state so
and this one didnt

Chain mail is medium armor. Medium armor slows you down 10ft. Take it off and see what happens.
Don’t confuse it with a chain shirt which is light armor.

have been wearing chain mail before i got the feat
didnt get -10 movement speed debuff
so it seems it doesnt
and already took it off nothing changed

Huh. Thanks for trying, it seems I am wrong.

Edit: for the record I was going off of pen and paper, and in that it does reduce your speed from 30 to 20, and from 20 to 15

this is fair ive found several comments online about other things that i thought "huh that doesnt work like that at all" and it turned out they were talking about the tabletop

Ok, I’ve been looking around for info on bloodrager and all I could find was that in pen and paper, you don’t get any of the benefits from the elemental bloodline power unless you are raging. With the exception of the capstone ability of course. So I looked at the character creation menu and it was quite vague. Have you opened the character menu on while raging? Perhaps your movement bonus from bloodline and your energy resistance is only added while raging? For science?

i think i have checked during combat but it can't hurt to be sure

btw up until lvl 3 i also kept gettting +6 str on damage with melee weapons when my score was 18 (so it should have been +4)

and tested* yes it only works when bloodrage is on (so only during combat) thanks for the tip ... still feels it should state that on the feature but whatever

Are you using a two handed weapon? Or a one handed weapon with a free hand? You get 50% more damage from str and from power attack in either of those situations.

then i guess the bug becomes why dont i always get it (i only get it 1/10 times maybe)
