No music playing in gameplay

Hi. In 1700 hours this has never happened.
I was playing yesterday just picking up a character where I left off and the character sounds and ambient sounds work but the crusade music was no longer playing in any of the locations I visited. It did not even play in loading screens. How can I fix that? Or what should I look into to fix that?

Do you use any mods? Probably they were updated.

Hmmm. Odd, though I understand why you might come to that conclusion. Never happened before and I do not have mods that are supposed to do anything with sound. I appreciate the input, unfortunately it seems to be just a temporary thing I could not duplicate so far. The weirdest part was it just effected the music. Not the dialog, the sounds of area forests, or even combat sounds.

I experienced this bug as well. My guess is that it only happens after a prolonged session.

My second play yesterday had no issue. Like i said I could not duplicate it. It was just weird.

K. I could not get it to happen again so, I am sorry I do not have more on that event. I really tried hard to duplicate that, but it seems it was just the one day I loaded the game.

I will report it next time instead of playing through it. It would probably be better looking at the occurrence with more eyes and with people with more knowledge on the subject. Nods, Nods.

I think this is closed for now. If I find it happens again I will give more details and follow procedure.

I have had the music drop out when my backup or other background process runs. Just the lock the sound files for a bit, and while it does not crash the game....no music plays until I reload the game and it can reclaim its assets from a dastardly system process.
