Act 2 - Weapons? Valiant Upgrade?

In the Crusader Camp and the Blacksmith does not have a Single Cold Iron weapon, does that mean with the N/Epic Damage Reduction you get with Mythic, you no longer need Cold Iron weapons to do damage to demons withe the ( Good/Cold ) Damage exceptions??

2nd where is Joran Vhane, Blacksmith from the Inn?? He said that he would supply a scabbard/upgrade Valiant but hes not the Blacksmith in the Crusader Camp. I checked with him every time i returned to the Inn, and just before heading off to the Grey Garrison and he never had anymore options to do the upgrade.. and you never had a chance after Grey Garrison.

Hmm.. Mythic you get Hero only choice ( 1 of 5 available ) at the beginning .. so assume theres at least one my upgrade, does taking a skill or if there more than one more upgrade ever remove a choice of Mythic upgrades/skills? i.e if took Angel would that remove demon later on ( if there is a 3rd upgrade)? My choice is either Chaotic or Freedom skill choices at present.. still can not decide,lol .. going to explore the Crusader Camp first.

Firstly, no, the Mythic damage reduction thing doesn't allow you to bypass any DR aside from Epic, I believe that Wilcer Garms is the main shopkeeper during act 2, and he'll have Cold Iron weapons, I'm not sure why the unnamed blacksmith exists.

Second, You'll find Joran at the end of act 2, you can't get the sword upgraded before then.

Your first two mythic ranks are always "Mythic Hero". At Mythic Rank 3, you'll select a mythic path from those that you have unlocked. Angel and Demon are automatically unlocked - others depend on what you have done.

The first two Mythic Hero ranks don't go away. Mythic abilities that depend on your mythic rank include those two.

@SmallGespenst .. sorry did not explain myself properly.. it was Wilcer I was talking about ( could not remember his name ). He has a grand Total of 1 (Jinx) cold iron weapon.. rest are all +1/+2 etc stats, I was hoping for some +1 Cold weapons :) why I asked :) Most weapons are to expensive, would of not minded the +2 crossbow form the first act, 16900g :( Spent money on other stuff i needed... though not sure came close to looting 17k .. without having to sell the weapons I found.

You need to have the Storyteller create the Covenant of the Inheritor for you as soon as you start Act 2. This will provide EVERY weapon you use the good aligned status and let them all act as if they were cold iron.

To create it you only need to have Piece of a Holy Symbol and 5 magic essences.

Problem solved.

Thanks, A unnamed Blacksmith appears after you talk with the Queen, but only has the usual Cold iron. I found out about the buckle when I went back to speak to him the 2nd time before speaking to the queen ( forgotten to ask him if i was carrying anything with a story ). Then I went and gave it the the queen, a second after i did that I thought what the Bleeping Bleep did i do that for... luckily I saved just before entering the tent :D
