thanks, that makes me like the game now.
Well, sometimes when the enemy die and i have mages auto spellcasting, for example, a touch attack, they cast it on themselves....so many times my necromancer did drain his own abilities score values...so i have to pay more attention, no more autocasting for some spells. Perhaps your case is something like this,...if this is the case, a bit more of micromanagement and you will be fine to go.
Hope this help
Have fun
*Make sure* your BAB roll are within 1-20 range (i.e. 20 BAB vs 30 AC, meaning Minimum Rolling 10 to hit, not 20 BAB vs 50 AC, meaning only nat20 rolls can hit)
Some enemies are nigh-impossible to hit by your normal melee.
Touch attack is king in this game, almost every single enemy has lower Touch AC.
There are some enemies with extremely high AC but even those can be hit without touch attacks if your character is focused enough and you buff hard enough. Though it's true, Sword Saint Dimension Strike ability just auto-wins the game.
Crits for 600 + Eelem Barrage from 3 elements. 5 attacks per round. 11-20 threat range if you go trickster. All crits automatically confirmed. Can get a 6x multiplier.
All attacks are counted as Touch.

It's my go to build if my party get their asses handed to them because I want to role play heavy armored Rogue/Sorcerer Dhampir who like to suck on these enemies blood and doing Crusade mission on the part time.
What makes SS so ridiculously good is the defensive spells and the fact that you can use your melee attacks against touch AC, which is guaranteed to hit against most of the hard bosses. You can probably solo the game with it without using any cheap stealth tricks. You can go Lich path and combine spellbooks for some seriously good stuff like 24h Haste etc.
Cannot figure out why I am taking damage. I do not have destructive dispel on or any dispel for that matter.
and yes. The game has so many conflicting and interacting actions the devs just simply can't help but seem incompetent. Sometimes my player card will just be my horse. Can't use any spells or abilities, cause Lann actions are replaced by .. MC horse. Cool.
Agreed. This guy basically just said if you do not have an intimate understanding of the extremely specific rules (that have bugs and overlapping effects) you are just doing a bad build. My recommendation for this game is RAPIDLY changing.
