They are capable of doing sneak attacks in situations where they shouldn't be able. I did post a bug report of it ages ago, glad to see it's still there.....
Caught them there and just wasted them with arrows
It's not a bug per se, but how Owlcat changed the meaning of "flanking". In either TT or this game, a rogue can sneak attack any flanked target (whether the rogue themselves is flanked does not come in to play).
In tabletop, flanking means "Threatened by 2 (or more) enemies who are on opposite sides of the character".
In this game, flanking means "Threatened by 2 (or more) enemies" - i.e. they got rid of the positioning requirement.
This makes it vastly, vastly easier to flank. If your character is adjacent to any two enemies, they have flanking bonuses.
It's actually a reason my MC is a mount class:
1. Daredevil mounts get immunity to being flanked at level 9, which effectively is +2 AC and immune to most sources of sneak attack in most situations.
2. The MC and the mount are virtually always flanking their target because both will threaten it, giving them +2 to hit (+4 with Outflank teamwork feat).
