Breath of Life

How come when you use this ability in combat on someone who is busy munching dirt, it cures Deaths Door; But when out of combat (when they stand up) it doesn't cure Deaths Door?

Hi there.

You only have one round for the "resurrect" effect to apply; if i am not mistaken around 6 seconds from when the condition was applied (character killed). After that it will only heal characters.

I've found that it can restore a party member to life if used within up to 2 rounds. I realize that it states one round in the spell description.

It's not one round it's until the end of the next round, so you have the round at which the char died and the next round to use breath of life. So depending of if you're healer is acting before or after the dead char, it can be one or 2 rounds.

so when they die/knock out (red portrait, not gray). They get back up at the end of combat with Deaths Door applied. If you use breath of life in combat they get back up immediately without Death's Door debuff. If combat ends, they still get back up alive 1hp. but breath of life won't remove Death's Door.
