How to remove buffs?
Is there any way to manually remove a buff on yourself before it expires? If so, how do I do it?

you can use the ingame wait option to expire all buffs/debuffs that are time based

Well there are several ways to remove buffs. I'll answer them for the sake of accuracy, so dont be offended at the answers.

Some buffs can be canceled out by casting the opposite. Enlarge person-reduce person, Haste-Slow.

You can remove the buffs off a character by killing them.

You can remove the buffs off a character by dispelling them.

You can forcefully expire buffs as conquista said, but thats not really removing them before they expire. Thats just force expiring them.

While not totally related to buffs. You can cancel shape shifts, by clicking on return to normal form. The only spells I think that would warrant canceling are
Enlarge person
Reduce person
Shape shift spells.

Hopefully your issue lies with one of those spells and your question was answered.

I just wanted to cancel my light spell on my head lol, but sounds like I'll just wait it out. Thanks for the replies

hahaha didnt think of that one. However, you can use aasimars to activate a light halo. You can turn that on and off. So if you have Daeran you can turn that on.

If you cast a Web during a battle then whoever cast it can remove that Web using the Dispel cantrip every caster has at their disposal specifically to do this for stuff like web, grease and scirroco etc.

I am not sure if this would also work on a buff cast on a character. Never tried.

Yeah there is a dismiss level 0 spell you can use to dispel pretty anything you casted yourself.

It's for area effects only (so pits, clouds, things like that). Says right there in the description.

You can cast light on someone else if you just want to move it.

* Maybe you could summon something and cast light on the summoned creature? Less time to wait.

* Maybe you could cast light on an enemy during combat?

That's certainly what it was invented and put in the game for (following criticism of endless waits for Webs etc to dissipate in Kingmaker) but do you know for sure that it won't also work on spells cast on a character such as light or any other buff?

Yep, that looks conclusive.

FWIW, you're stuck waiting for Transformation to expire. You don't want that to last 24 hrs (no spellcasting).
