Level pacing and scope (deciding what to play next)
I've had WotR in my library since launch, but wanted to hold off til all the DLC was out. I know a second expansion pass is planned, but as for the original DLC, the 3rd should be out soon, so now I've got a few questions about the game to help decide what to play next (almost finished with FF7 remake, and now craving a more traditional isometric RPG).

I felt like Kingmaker did a pretty good job of level pacing and scope (actually yet to finish the last chapter or two, but enjoyed what I played of it until some frustration with the Hellknight quest - just felt like there was no support for a proper lawful neutral (or lawful evil) approach to it without tanking your kingdom in the process, so I put it on indefinite hold).

Anyway, since the focus of Wrath is on mythic high level stuff, I'm wondering if the early levels feel rushed or if there is a solid normal feeling progression, and the game is just bigger and/or longer than Kingmaker and its more gradual build up to the epic stuff.

I generally find that the level range I most enjoy is the 4-14 range (in D&D/pathfinder level scope) where you gradually get more and more cool abilities and open new options, but have not yet reached that overpowered feeling. BG2 and its expansion however did a good job of making high level content fun and challenging - hoping Wrath succeeds there too, but also hoping it provides a solid mid level experience too, but the setting the chose seems like you would have to be high level just to survive there.

Current considerations for next game to play.
Re-start (and maybe actually finish the following)
Kingmaker (see above)
Pillars of Eternity 2 (got close to end, but encountered a quest ruining bug)
Divinity Original Sin 2 (perpetually kept re-starting to try different character builds)
Wasteland 3 (started but didn't get very far. didn't pull me in the wasteland 2 did)
Or ignore my back catalog and just start Wrath...

After act 2 though meaning act 3-5 having differing level ranges due to completion rating. You can skip most of act 3 if you wish and begin act 4 at a lower level or finish it all the way and be at a higher level and this continues generally till the end when you are already lvl 20.

Prologue-Act 2 can have differing level ranges if you actively skip areas/content, but if you complete everything those are the levels you'll start/end at if not abusing exp share.

Thanks, assuming the act lengths are comparable to act lengths in Kingmaker, that looks like a natural (not-rushed) progression. Now I'm quite curious to see how they fit low level content into the them of the world wound. :)

Might still re-play kingmaker first to re-learn the core rules, but looking forward to starting this one a lot more now.
