Is this a bugged/unfinished item?

Necroing thread about this book because nothing on internet seems to be complete about this book.
Some say book is stuck on page 1, some say page 2 is given in act 5 after Iomedae and Nocticula come to Drezen for tea and biscuits and so on...
Pathfinder wiki has different description than my book (mine says extra summon, while wiki says good hope and longstrider for summons).

I'm playing as Azata (if it matters at all), few hours of gameplay after the chat between 2 stuck-up ladies, book of dreams is still on page 1 (extra summon during summoning, which is page 1).

Does it ever progress or that's it?

You get page 2 during the attack on Drezen, Arueshalae's cell - haven't got any further with the book as I have to keep restarting due to bugs.

Welp, time to use Toybox again (shocking) to fix what is broken.

You absolutely can get page 1 and 2 now and the book properly progresses with them. I haven't got to page 3 yet on this playthrough, but the 1st page is from the bottom of the well in the Lost Chapel and the second page is in Arue's cell during the Siege of Drezen and MUST be picked up before the end of the siege.

toyboxing the page 2 book MIGHT break page 3, there are a bunch of flags and stuff that are associated with the book progression, but the page itself should still appear in game.

Page 2 needs a perception check to appear.

Omg never knew that after playing this game for years lol. Thanks for the information! Need to make a note to remind myself to pick it up everytime from now on.

Luckily i have been playing my current campaign super slowly. Just have to kill the dragon, deal with the greengates hag and get the lexicon to get back to where i was after going back to an old save and getting page 2 :p

Ahhh, so it's perception check during Siege.
So either I didn't stick my face into wall while getting Arue during siege, or failed check.
Whatever, between lack of proper description, it being bugged for years (according to internet) and complete lack of information anywhere on how to progress it, used toybox for page 2 and left it as is.

Thanks all, will be useful to know for future runs (if only to know when to savescum to get page 2).

You need to go into the cell and face the wall in the corner. I loaded an old save and tried it out and viola the ping sound appeared and i found the page. makes me go doh for missing it in the upteen dozen plus runs i have done past that area.

just curious? any news on page 3? I don't think i have ever gotten that page either lol. This is one item i never really bothered with but i am was watching some wotr build videos and a monster tactician summoner build video has made me interested in building a monster summoner merc for my current playthrough and this actually fits the build really well lol

page 3 is in act v somewhere but no ideas where

I recently found 3 page. It is in Areelu hat at quest "Key", when you go for blooprints of Areelu (with glass key) on the second floor at the left (or right) corner.
P.S. But I'm on Azata way.
