Reach weapons while mounted

Seems reach weapons lose their reach while mounted. Anyone else notice this? Found this with Seelah on her horse with Marching Terror euipped. She can no longer hit enemies while standing at the back. Is this because the weapon's reach is gone or because the horse wants to attack as well?

you still have reach, its just your unit automatically walks into mount reach, if you have stuff like cleaving finish it will trigger on weapon reach

Ok thanks, I figured as much. Is there a way to disable the mount attack?

hmm haven't tested but if you use animal growth to horse it grows in size and might get longer reach as well ( with other animal companions i haven't noticed visual growth nor can enlarged people ride them anymore).. so if you have horse then then it might be one way get mount reach as well.
