I’ve used all the shadow spells with the mod and they all seem to use illusion for DC’s now (and I believe the author added more choices for the existing shadow spells), however in practice I still end up using the non-greater spells infrequently thanks to the poor spell selection for the spell slot you’re using.
Tabletop tweaks has become essential for me personally. Its mod authors update lightning fast each time Owlcat rolls out a new update. And there is a toggle for pretty much everything - useful for stuff you don't want.
As an added bonus, more and more mod authors use Tabletop Tweaks as a base for their own mods too. Microscopic Content Expansion[github.com] and Tome Of The Firebird[github.com] being two of such mods.
