What is this "woke" you speak of?
To clear up - yes, there is a lesbian couple. Yes, some romances are available to either both genders, or only homosexually.
None of that matters for the game's narrative, nor does it signal itself as in "HEY LOOK AT THIS AND PRAISE MY PROGRESSIVENESS" as way too many games do. It's just there as part of the world lore.
So no, it's not "woke". It just has a couple non-standard occasions sprinkled in for taste.
But there only a few things and it is bearable and not anoying.
You are not so different from the people that you hate.
What do you mean by "woke"?
Well, I suppose it's also not a good idea to take social cues from a country where everyone just goes with what's trendy in their circles.
