This is woke right?
I was hesitant after seeing some the story gameplay and companion choices, but what about the narrative, does it have woke overtones.

They suddenly quadrupled the regional prices so I specially dont want to waste money on woke trash.

It fits the defination of woke. Most of the men in this particular game, are usually inept, or are a complete joke. The main story revolves around the females. Most item descriptions feature you as a female.

That said, I really enjoy this game regardless. I do not regret this purchase one bit.

I'm as anti-woke as it gets and I'm having a blast with this game.

Some companions and characters are 100% woke, but general overall story not so.

*Looks up from slaughtering everyone indiscriminately and raising them as undead*

What is this "woke" you speak of?

To clear up - yes, there is a lesbian couple. Yes, some romances are available to either both genders, or only homosexually.

None of that matters for the game's narrative, nor does it signal itself as in "HEY LOOK AT THIS AND PRAISE MY PROGRESSIVENESS" as way too many games do. It's just there as part of the world lore.

So no, it's not "woke". It just has a couple non-standard occasions sprinkled in for taste.

It isn't woke free.
But there only a few things and it is bearable and not anoying.

It's rather funny. The origin of the word "woke" is about awareness of social issues dating back to teh 1940's... All these "anti woke" people, want to stay inside their treestump, and close their eyes and ears for anything outside of it. They need people such as Tucker Carlson to tell them what to think... crazy..

I don't think so, but then I don't seem to be in the group of folks who gives a ♥♥♥♥.

I think it's more like being annoyed with all the forced political correctness. Most people that would call themselves anti woke are perfectly fine with addressing and dealing with social issues. They're just not fine with the stuff being thrown at them left and right. And the worst thing is, all this stuff comes from the USA, a country where hate and social bullcrap reign supreme. In all honesty I wouldn't take social advice from a country where everyone hates eachother.

Yes and the "Woke" people need professors, celebrities, late night talk show hosts, and politicians to tell them what to think.
You are not so different from the people that you hate.

Well, I suppose it's also not a good idea to take social cues from a country where everyone just goes with what's trendy in their circles.

Pathfinder in general has woke elements. It's more of a Paizo thing than Owlcat thing.

It is fairly woke, yes.

I think the only "woke" thing in the game is when one character suggests a law granting tieflings rights. That's it.
