Stuttering
Anyone else have a single annoying stutter like every 10 seconds? Did you fix it somehow?
Never happened before EE patch.
CPU usage goes to 100% for a split seconds and produces the stutter.

It jumps to 100% CPU load from average load at pretty set intervals of around 10 seconds and the program i use to monitor my computer shows only this game using any mentionable CPU power.

Its pretty obviously not a hardware problem, but rather the game is calling for something at set intervals that has been broken in some way.

Try to limit your FPS, sometimes it helps
No, vsync is always on and i have tried to limit it even further in Nvidia control panel.

Yep, even with a Threadripper 5975WX and a 3080TI unmodded this game stutters like a mofo in turn based mode. It's very clearly an issue to do with the game, not hardware.

I've passed that to the QA, they're looking for the causes

Same here , the game ran butter smooth before EE patch and now it stutters.

Any solutions found regarding the stuttering every few min?
Thought that new patch will help, but its still the same for me...
No sorry. No doubt they have decided its mods and discarded the whole thing.
It's a pretty well known fact that games do not use very many cores of your CPU, which in some cases, on high core/thread CPUs there might be scheduling conflicts, that result in stutters.
Ironically, lower end CPUs with less cores/threads often run those games better.
Now, I'm not 100% sure if this is the problem in Wrath, but I'm just letting you know that this is sometimes a problem in games, in general.

I guess this could be my case, issue started to appear after I changed my video card to more powerful... buy I dont have the old one anymore, so cant say for sure...
Yes, thanks, but if you read the thread we are all reporting that it worked fine before EE so its a problem with the update.

My bad, but wrote here, cuz i dont know for sure, i change my Card at the same time EE was released...
I have the same issue. Last time I played was way before EE launch.. I think patch 1.2.X or 1.3.X or something. Was planning to start another playthrough now that EE dropped.

Before EE I didn't have the issue but now the game stutters every few seconds, almost like clockwork. It seems to me that the game maybe makes a recurring call or periodically executes a script or something that must be the issue.

I tested with and without mods. I only use ToyBox and BubbleBuff. ToyBox only for QoL options. No cheats, etudes, blueprints or whatnot.
For almost all games that exist to this day higher clockspeeds outperform more cores.
Fe: An AMD 5800X or 5900X will in most cases outperform any of the 5000 series threadrippers.

Do these stutters appear from the getgo or do they appear later on in the game (save game wise, not time wise)?

You could try setting the affinity for the game to only a few threads (1 to 4) in taskmanager, see if that helps.

I personally don't have the stutters, but my current save is only in ACT 2 so far, so I can't try anything.

Stutters all the time. Core adjustments made it worse.
