There is a short description on how to edit the .json for a save file.

The variables you're looking for when you edit player.json is :
"MinValue":-100,"MaxValue":20,"CurrentValue":20

You can set just CurrentValue to anything between -100 and 20, or you should be able to adjust all 3 to a specific value (such as 0) to ignore morale for the rest of that save.

In crusade after some rang (chapter 3+) you have periodical dicisions of incrising morale. Crusading flag (battle, forts and Dresen) increase morale after each day.
And main quistion HOW you could received -100 morale????

At this point, uh...cheat with toybox? Because otherwise you've somehow managed to utterly ♥♥♥♥ your campaign.

Well I was afraid of this. I can hire mercenaries but they are too expensive. I managed this because I was just trying how crusade work and I lost too much army and no win.

So no way to gain morale again?

I also heard once you get rid of all the demon armies it'll eventually just keep dropping due to nothing to attack anymore which is kind of lame tbh

First question is Act 2 or 3? Because in Act 2 you are extremely limited in what actions you can take. No decrees, no buildings, few finances and a very limited pool of recruits makes it nearly impossible to recover once you've lost a battle or two. If you're unable to push through to Drezen, It's very nearly a soft-lock because it'll take a year or more of game time to build an army back with the morale penalties killing your already limited recruitment numbers. Better to restart, ideally you have a save from before things got so out of hand.

Act 3 things become much easier. You city and fortress constructions to increase your economy and unit recruitment. You get more types of units to work with. You get decrees, some of which are repeatable, to directly manipulate your morale score or get you bonus money/units. You get semi-regular weak armies charging at your outposts to help you keep your army busy and morale high. The only way you can really get into a negative Morale spiral at that point is by clearing all the enemy keeps and sitting around twiddling your thumbs for a few months of time instead of progressing the game.

Ideally you learned a bit about how Crusade works from this, because the game does a crap job explaining it. If all else fails, look for a general with the Scorching Ray ability already available. It can carry you almost by itself.

If I were to guess, I'd say Act 5.

That's true, and you basically have to make sure that you have a very high power level army so the random demon armies - which don't count towards banners - will flee rather than engage, lest they reconquer the map.

It doesn't matter beyond that, though. Your army and morale is reset between acts 3 and 5.

It's act 2 and I completed too many quests, progression etc. Damn. Game didn't give me any proper hint about crusades and I didn't pay attention

That was a life saver. Thank you so much. My morale is high again. But it keeps dropping again even though I win several battles in a row. Do you know why?

There should be three banners in your Crusader Management View.
If they are green you are good. If they are red you are losing morale.
I think they show why you are losing it if you hover over them.
Sly Oct 5, 2022 @ 3:02pm
I think you said you're in Act 2 on the road to Drezen. The 2 banners in the top left should be for 1) Defeating an army (not sure if any or on the direct path to Drezen) and 2) Capturing a fort. For each red banner you lose 3 morale per day, for each green you gain 1.
