Treasure of Midnight Isles - wont advance in campaign mode

At the end of the second map, playing in campaign mode. Killed the named boss, and every mob i can find on the floor.

At the end, i get a message "You cant leave this place until you defeat its guardian and take their treasure".

Ive gone back to ship and returned a few times, tried difference companions. There is no more loot and no more mobs on this floor/island.

Bug? or missing something?

I've got the same problem on island 9 after killing and looting Ywrag

Go back to the ship via the entrance to the island, then back to Golarion and go on the world map. If a message shows up in the log that you gained XP it worked and you can back and travel to the next island. At least this worked for me.
But I got the problem now that I finished all islands but the final area ist empty for me, no boss or anything :(

This worked for me as well, thank you so much!

Had to go all the way to campaign map as noted (four loading screens!) to fix it. then could go to next island.

Very inconvenient place in campaign mode. At least in Kinmaker you could build a town next door to teleport to.

As I heard it depends in which Act (3,4,5) the quest started where the location is. I am in Act 3 and for me it is north west from Drezen at the lake. But it still takes me 17 hours from there because there is no nice direct path going there but since I got a Teleportation Circle in Drezen I dont have to travel both ways ans I only needed to travel back once to avoid getting a level of corruption and because there was not that much going on for me.

If you stuck on 1-3 island use a toybox, find a quest, teleport there, then finish it.
